"I wouldn't suggest meeting him, one wrong move and he attacks, you can't help but feel paranoid." I froze once I said the word "paranoid". I turned to discover that we were being stalked by a group of canyon crawlers. I didn't have any food on me. "I thought you got rid of your food." I whispered. I looked over at Bato who looked at me sheepishly. He uncurled his tail dumping a pile of leechi nuts.

I looked around "this.Isn;t. Good." I looked around some more for a source I could make fire with. I had nothing but i did have matches in my pocket. If I really needed to I would pull them out.

They hissed and charged. I opened two of my canteens and pulled the water out. I whipped the first one and wrapped the water around one of its feet and pulled causing it to fall. I hurled the mass of water at another and froze it to a rock. I was out of water and there were still four more.

I pulled out the matched and lit one. I made the fire grow and grow and grow until it was around us then shot it off at the canyon crawlers. I took the buring fire and grew it again ready to attack.

I turned to a canyon crawler and focused. I exhaled deeply and froze a crawler in place. Bato began to pelt them with leechi nuts, and I looked up. I focused on the clouds and condensed them. It began to pour down rain and I caught every drop of water. I pushed it forward and froze it, trapping the canyon crawlers in an icy cage. "I have an idea... RUN!" I called. I grabbed Bato's paw and pulled him onto my back.

I turned with loko still on my shoulder and ran. This was a...smart plan. I smiled.

I ran quickly making sure Bato was clinging tightly. I hear the ice crack and a loud hissing. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the horn. I blew it and Keanu dove down snatching Amethyst and I off the canyon floor. He put us in the cradle on his back and flew higher to get away from the canyon crawlers.

My golden eyes raised up and were wide. "Were alive, thats good, really good" I said through a deep breath. i started to breath heavily again.

I sighed, "Where to?" I asked Amethyst.

I shrugged. "I don't care i have nowhere important to go" I smiled for a second. I looked over at loko. He was holding on for dear life again. I took him off my shoulder and put him in my lap.

Bato rested on the pillow like cushion covering the floor of the basket, obviously not concerned about the flying. "Well, it's getting kinda late." I noted looking at the sun beginning to set, "How about we stop to make camp for the night, unless you want to part ways."

"No, I'll stay with you, maybe you can meet Choko if he has the guts to show himself" I said then shook my hair put of my eyes.

Keanu made a slow steady dive and descended into a forest. He landed and I began to unpack the supplies strapped to the front of the basket. I managed to put up the tent and scavenged the nearby area and collected fire wood. I set up the fire pit and turned to Amethyst, "would you mind lighting it?"

I made the hand motions and lit the fire. That was one of the only things I could actully mke fire apper. I heard a funny sound and then I turned around Choko landed next to me with my back pack. I went upa dn petted him then whisperd to him. "He's trustworthy, don't be afraid" I grabebd my backpacka dn pulled out my notebook.

Keanu coiled around our campsite, I felt safe, nothing with a brain would come close to a dragon in the wild. I grabbed a blanket and wrapped myself in it, sitting next to the fire. Bato crawled into my lap and curled up. I stared at Choko from across the fire. "Oops, I forgot about your backpack, sorry."

"it's fine, I knew Choko would bring it." I grabebd a blanket and layed By Choko. I looked up at the sky.

"The one thing that I love about traveling is the night sky. The stars are much brighter out here, which I like." I explained. I rested on my side as Bato cuddled his little red hat. I scratched his head and yawned.

"Oh I know! I just love th sky, when your in villages I've noticed you can't reallly enjoy the sky because ther arn't very mant stars" I looked over and Choko was sleeping and Loko was drowsy.

I nodded, "there are too many lights, the stars are always drowned out in cities." I looked over at Keanu, who was asleep, as was Bato. I smiled and pulled Bato under the blankets more. "So how did you find Choko?" I asked quietly.

"He kinda found me, after I ran away from my village I was wanderign around with Loko then We kinda rand into him. He looked lsot so we kinda, got together I guess and He's been with me since." I puleld the blanket up closer to me.

"That's kind of how I met Keanu, it's nice adding a big companion on your journeys, it makes you feel safer." I admitted. I yawned and closed my eyes drifting off to sleep.

I woke up multiple times in the night, whether it was getting too cold or too many noises in the forest. Keanu pushed more logs to the fire and relit it, fixing my problem of chilliness, and would send a low growl into the forest, too low for me to hear, but the noises stopped. I closed my eyes again and fell back to sleep.

I had a dream: I was dreamign the Fire Nation Guards found me, they were shouting and screaming. My heart was pounding. I was running barefoot through the forest. I ran ran then I ended up at the edge of a cliff. I stopped close and if I moved half a inch I was bound to fall. my heart beated faster. Then Choko came from under me adn took me nto the air. Fire flew by my head but I was up into the sky far far away from them. : I woke Up in the middle of the night for a tiny second then fel back to sleep curling up on the ground.

Birds started to chirp and I knew it was morning. The sun appeared behind the trees and I sat up, rubbing Bato's head.

Bato and I returned from a nearby stream with freshly caught fish and a shirt full of berries. I let go of the front of my shirt and dumped the berries into a basket. I then worked on gutting the fish and was able to salvage four large chunks of meat. I placed the food over the fire while Bato began to knaw on a
raw fish.
