"A lemur bat!" I rejoiced. "The previous avatar, Aang had a lemur bat." Bato stopped, ignoring the treat and crawled over to the lemur. He sniffed the air and chattered again.

"What kind of animal is Choko?" I asked admiring the lemur.

"He's a um flying bison" I said.

"Really? Wow, they're really rare, luckily there were more Skybison other than Appa or that species would be extinct."

"I have a dragon named Keanu... he usually likes to stay hidden." I emptied my pockets of the leechi nuts and rolled a few over to the lemur. Bato scurried over to the pile of nuts and began to eat.

Loko got up and came closer to the nuts and ate some. "dragons are really cool" I took my hair out of the ponytail and shook it.

"Wanna go explore the canyon?" I asked.

I looked around for a sec. I ould tell i could trust him. "Sure Why not?"

"Kay, we're going to have to leave all food up here unless we want to be swarmed by canyon crawlers." I told her.

"That wouldn't be good, I mena about the canyon crawlers" I just took my backpack off and left it there and then stood up. Loco hopped up and landed on my shoulder.

I pulled a horn out of my pocket. It was made of a hollowed out dragon horn. I blew it and I looked up to the sky. A long blue serpent with two pairs of wings dropped out of the clouds and swooped down next to us. He grabbed me and Amethyst and plunged into the canyon, Bato clinging tightly to my leg.

Keanu slowed and stopped dropping us at the canyon's base. He released his grip, roared and shot back up into the sky. "That was fun." I said smiling. Bato climbed up my leg to my back and looked over my shoulder.

I looked up, and realized that the canyon was really deep. I kept focus just in case a canyon crawler might decide to jump us. I sighed.... "yeah."

"Yeah the Canyon" I looked over at Kei. "Its like so big, I'm jsut wondering how it got here"

"Legend says this canyon was carved by earth spirits, who where angry at farmers for not offering proper sacrifices. But experts say it was carved by a river that is now completely evaporated."

I shrugged, "you never know, you ever been to Wan Shi Tong's Library? Its guarded by the spirit Wan Shi Tong, who takes the form of a giant owl. He's rather creepy."
