The Monorail Station

I sat on a bench twirling a dagger in my hands. I glanced up to look at the people getting on and off the monorail.

I stepped into a crowd of rushing, hurrying people as I got off the train. I pulled my pack closely to my back, in fear that it could get snatched. My hair had made a mess of itself lately and was falling in my eyes. I made my way through the crowd and found a bench. I sat and yanked out the ribbon in my hair and my ponytail fell down. I pulled my hair out of my eyes and redid my ponytail, roughly tying the ribbon. I never knew why I kept it so long, it was very inconvientient.
I noticed someone sitting next to me.

I turned and sniffed. A kid sat down next to me and whipped me with his hair. I was tempted to grab it and cut it off with my knife. I inhaled deeply and smelled... ash, and soot. A firebender. This could be fun... now how to start a fight? No! not here, you're in to deep already, plus all the earthbenders around. I straightened myself sitting taller, and exhaled loudly.

The man sitting next to me seemed annoyed. I felt uneasy. "Sir, is something bothering you?"

"No!" I said sarcastically, "why would I be annoyed by a little twit who keeps whipping me with his long girly hair!?"

My eyes narrowed. Ouch.
My stomach started to churn. "Well," I started, "the ladies seem to think it's quite romantic." I chuckled. "Besides, atleast I have hair now." I snapped my fingers and a small, red flame flickered above my fingers. "I used to always burn it off by accident." I smiled, abnoxiously bareing my teeth.

"Oh no a fire bender..." I said rather unscathed. "Put that away, before someone with long girly hair gets hurt." I suggested holding up a throwing knife.

I chuckled. "Don't even try using that toy on me. Try to touch me, and I'll send a thousand vaults of electricity through your body faster than a blink of an eye." I grinded my teeth.

"I'm a bounty hunter, kid. You got no idea what weapons and skills I've got. You can try to get me, but you'll fail."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. I've got bigger things to worry about than some guy who plays with kitchen utensils."

I shuddered with rage. I stood abruptly, "you're just begging to get hurt!"

I looked up at him. "No, I'm not. I've got bigger threats to worry about than you. It's probably threatening you too."

My eyes narrowed, I growled and chucked a kunai knife at him, embedding itself into the bench between his left, pointer and middle finger.

I growled. "Not here." I said through bared teeth. I secretly charged the knife, passing a current of electricity through it. Once he touched it, he would be tossed backward. "And I'm not your biggest threat so don't waste your energy."

"Who said I wasted energy?" I growled. I stormed off shoving a girl with anger.
"HEY! Watch it!!"
"Maybe you should pay attention to where you're going!"
"I can't! I'm blind stupid! So maybe you shouldn't be so rude!" I growled. "And you might wanna be careful, before something bad happens to you." I threatened
I didn't wanna start a fight, she was annoying but no reason to kill her. I walked off.

I stood carefully and stumbled, regaining my balance quickly.

"Hey," I said to the girl, "are you alright?" I put my hand on her shoulder.

His hand was warm and his voice was nice, he wasn't screaming, like my parents usually do... "Yeah I'm fine, I'm trying to find Stitch, we're playing hide-and-seek. He's really good at this game."

My brows furrowed. "Who's Stitch?" I smiled quickly.

I heard some people scream, and felt a scurrying vibration on the ground behind me. The screaming continued in little bursts and he approached me. "Stitch! Your not supposed to come out until I find you!" I yelled at the canyon crawler. He made a gurgling sound and I responded. "What do you mean you yelled, olli-olli-auction-free!? Only the seeker says that!" His head cocked to the side. "This is stitch, he's a canyon crawler! Stitch, this is... what's your name, sir?"

I was very weirded out, but I liked this girl, she was friendly. "My name is Siri." I turned to Stitch, "Hello." I was going to pet it but I decided it wasn't the best idea. "What's you're name, Miss?"

I frowned, "You're not allowed to call me 'miss'. My parents say it's a title for people of higher class. They say I'm worthless, and scum, so I can only call people 'sir, and miss' cus' everyone is higher class than me."

I smiled. "Well, Miss," I patted her shoulder, "it'll be our own little secret. What's your name?"
