"Stitch!" I called. He crawled over to me and rested in my lap, comforting me.

I ran in with the waterbender to see Mero and her mom. "Mero, I brought..."

I looked at the girl who must have been Mero. I finished the firebender's sentence, "...Li Mei. I'm a waterbender. I can heal her." I looked at the bloodied woman on the floor.

I nodded shaking, hugging Stitch tightly.

I brought out some water from my cantene and immeresed my hand in it. I pressed my hand to Mero's mother's wound and closed my eyes. Using my powers, I healed her.

I shivered and wiped tears from my cheeks. "Thank you..." I managed to say.

I smiled, "I'm glad I could help." I helped Mero's mother into a chair and asked Mero to bring her some water.
I then turned to the firebender, "And as for you," I looked at him and smiled easily, "It looks like you could use some healing too." I motioned down at his feet.

I looked down and saw that my feet were blistered and sore.

"I don't know where it is, I can't see it." I told her.

I frowned. "Oh." She was blind! I had no idea. I decided to give her the rest of my cantene. Mero gave it to her mother. I closed my eyes and tried to feel any water near by. There was some in the firebender's cantene.
I grabbed his cantene and opened it, making a small pool of airborne water. "Have a seat." I told the firebender.
He sat on the ground in front of me and I took his feet in my hands. Using the water, I started to heal the blisters. "So, you never told me your name. I'm Li Mei by the way."

The water felt amazing on my sore feet. "I'm Siri. And really, you don't have to do this." I smiled.

"It's fine." I smiled back. "My mother always told me to act selflessly, even with strangers. But, we don't have to be strangers. Siri's a good name."

I blushed.

I sat back and thought... I just bended metal. Was it even possible? I stood and pressed my hands to a metal sewer grate. I could "see" the imperfections in it and slipped my fingers through the holes and crumpled the metal, causing a horrible groaning and screeching sound. I got nervous and threw it down the sewer. I turned and looked at the metal sheets covering my father's corpse. I ripped out the entire wall behind him, making sure nothing spilled out. I dropped his casket down the sewer.

I felt a bunch of water land on the ground outside. I thought nothing of it and returned inside.

After my feet were healed, and Missu was doing alright, I went outside. I saw, above the buildings, a column of smoke. I remembered seeing something like that before. Ahkira!
I ran back in the tent, "Mero, Ahkira is here, in Ba Sing Se!"

I looked up at Siri. "Akira?!" I saw Siri run out of the tent and decided to follow. "Mero, let's go!"

I whistled for Stitch who crawled over to my mom. She lethargically got onto his back and Stich scurried after Siri and Li Mei.
